Edgewood Leisure has a 10 metre pool with a shallow bottom. This is our training pool which we use for our younger and less confident swimmers. This pool is the one we use to take the very young, and non swimmers, and teach them to swim, progressing through sessions, starting with widths and moving on   to lengths. This pool is ideal for very young children, as they can generally touch the floor throughout    it's length.

Hucknall Leisure Centre is a modern 25 metre pool, with a moveable floor, which we drop to the bottom   to allow full use of the pool at it's maximum depth at both ends, allowing diving and swimming practice   to proceed without concern for available depth. When the floor is at it's lowest the pool is 2.0metres deep throughout it's entire length,
